From the Hood of my SUV near Wupatki National Monument

Wupatki National Monument - Panorama @ Sunset

The concept of adding this blog to the site is something that came to me likely in a moment much like this. Getting out in nature, outside, feeling free. I feel so BLESSED to have the opportunity to do this. Its wild because I almost never use that word and here I am using it in reference to a situation that is of my own creating.

We live in a reality that is the sum total of the consequences of our actions.

Every action has a consequence. Every inaction, every time we do the same thing instead of actively changing - that has a consequence. That is our human reality. I never believed all the manifesting mumbo jumbo until I started to realize how much energy plays a role in my own life. When someone is stressed - I can feel it radiating off them. It hits me smack in the chest. Sure a large part of that is my empathic nature, and for me that has always just been normal. Realizing though that if others energy can impact me in this way, of course my energy also impacts others. What messages is your body sending into the universe? What story repeats in your head? I know the voice in my head... is an asshole.... to put it lightly. I am my own worst critic. How common is that? Our inner voice is the sum total of our experiences. But imagine that is your worst enemy's voice, would you take what they said to heart? Would you let it impact your daily existence? Five years ago - my answer to that would have been yes, even if I wasn't consciously aware of it. My inner voice hated me, and I hated myself. I still hate myself from time to time, but it is no longer a 24/7 underlying thought. Through the process of finding myself, I have learned to give myself grace, sometimes. We are all a work in progress. The work will never end for those of us that are growth minded, and while that may sound exhausting, that also means we can find the tools to shape our life into the existence we crave. But first we have to find ourselves and find what it is that we crave.

Me Laying Journaling on the Hood of my Car

The sun is beating down on me and I fear I'm going to burn. It is time to say au vois to this connected land. Time to move on to touch more rocks.
